I will prefer personal banking with technology, we have to include chatbox technology with some rules and regulations. As we just seen case of Facebook they developed two chatbox as a experiment to talk with each other in English language but after some days they created its own language, Facebook shut down it immediately. So this is one example of dangerousness of chatbot feature, so we use this technology but not completely, we have to use it with some regulations with personal banking and with control of human on technology. Otherwise we affected in future by this technology.

It depends on my query. If my query demands personal banking service, then I would say Personal banking. For a minor query, where there would be no need of personal banking service, I would say Chat Box banking. #JBIMS#hack

Chatbot for sure. With the increasing customer Base it is very time consuming to find a executive who will explain all the process and solve your problems but with the Chatbot you have a personal executive for yourself who solves your problems. Also the solutions that you get from the Chatbot will be very specific.
Personal banking is most preferred because when it comes to chat bot banking one actually doesn't know whether he/she is really communicating with the corresponding bot. The Bot might be hacked or can be used to steal sensitive data of the customer. Chat bots are good for answering "frequently asked questions". I would prefer personal banking because it provides a sense of 'eliteness' to the whole banking experience and I would thank my bank for taking care of your needs.

#MDI#hack with the advent of chat bots, they have been growing in knowledge. Though no where near the expected level of response database, I would prefer more work on chat bots as there is no delay in response if the data exists in database

#mdi #hack I'd prefer personal banking, not because chat bot banking is not rich in features but because it lacks understanding at a deeper level. It can not understand emotions the way other humans do. Each customer is different and a standardized response can't replace human touch.
I would rather have a peraonal banker... Everytime i go to the chat bot and it bores me with the same old set of standard questions is what I wouldn't like.. A person might at least be dressed differently the other day!

This is especially crucial when it comes to helping a client with his investment options as mere numbers sometimes do not reflect the real situation and hence incorporation of human tendencies and preferences will tend to be overlooked.

For banking transactions involving less money and all the general day to day expenses, its better and very convenient to use chat bot banking. On the other hand, for heavy transactions I would prefer to do them with personally as the amount of risk involved is higher and my trust on the chat bots is still in the introduction phase.
To handle very trivial or mundane queries we can think of going for chat bot banking but when it comes to banking advice, in a country like India where people are still skeptic and unaware about any other investment option than FD or where people do not think beyond savings account, personal banking is irreplaceable which does not just sell product but customers buy trust from them and this will help in long run.

I as a consumer would prefer a balanced combination of both the approaches. Chat Box is essential to address redundant and more frequently generated queries. On the other hand, for niche queries chat box neither has the right database nor any keyword approach that can lead me in the right direction. Hence at such occasions, personal banking is desirable. An approach towards this can be to monitor the chat box-consumer interface time and to the consumer to personal banking in case the query isn't resolved or demands physical interface in case of critical scenarios of wealth and account management.
I'd prefer banking with a Chat bot. The opinion may seem a impersonal at first but,
1. Chat bot would provide more accurate information and the margin of error is negligible.
2. Guidelines and terms become clearer and hence less chances of feeling duped by the bank.
3. It would mean that people would bank with a certain bank because of the services, not the marketing strategies.
Like most customers, I'd prefer the assurance and human touch of personal banking with the convenience of chat bot banking.

In the near future, RPA based solutions in banking support will be a reality due to cognitive platforms like IBM Watson skinned over existing licensed softwares being used by a bank. Self-Servicing is already faster than personal banking with a CRM rep. The only issue is how to account for highly subjective human problems that can be better understood by another human and not a machine, such as death of an a/c holder with no nominees, or loan defaults due to theft or family rifts, etc.

I would anyday prefer a chat bot over personal banking. Everything is online, all sorts of information you just have to click a button. For few basic queries of customers that usually are repeated 10 times a day, bank doesn't need to employ a person for that .
